Politics in Central Europe is an open access, independent and internationally peer-reviewed scientific journal in political science and international relations. The Journal was established in 2005 in the cooperation with the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA).

Politics in Central Europe publishes original, peer-reviewed manuscripts focusing on issues in comparative politics, policy analysis, political theory, international relations, security studies, regional studies and other sub-disciplines of political science, as well as original theoretical or conceptual analyses. The main review´s goal is to foster the academic excellence in and support scholars from (East-)Central Europe. Nevertheless, the journal welcomes contributions from all parts of the world and those addressing any aspect of political development and actors in the region. We strive to give to the scholars from (East-)Central Europe and beyond the opportunity to present the results of their original research. In this sense, all essays must contribute to a broad understanding of the region of (East-)Central Europe and/or the discipline of political science. Besides essays, there are also essay reviews, and book reviews published in the journal.

The journal invites suggestions for special issues.

Politics in Central Europe is published by the Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) and MUP Press in the co-operation with the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA).

There are no publication fees or processing charges.
